Academic career opportunities within WISPAD include full-time faculty positions as a Professor/Researcher (PR). These appointments attract highly trained young faculty with a Ph.D. in public policy or related areas, and with interests in issues of international development and poverty alleviation.
WISPAD’s PRs integrate advanced training in analytical tool and managerial skills for international development with a vocation to serve the poor and needy in line with the School’s main vision. For a position as a PR, WISPAD gives priority to young faculty trained in or originating from any of its operational regions, who have full proficiency in English.
The main academic work of PRs takes place in the central offices as well as in other provinces and cities within WISPAD’s regions of service. PRs combine research and teaching in analytical tools or managerial skills with expertise in specific public policy areas required to address particular developmental needs.
